Boogie Down with Smart Process

When you think about process in context of getting your creative work done, I'm guessing words like “groovy,” “fun” and “wheeee!” don’t pop into mind. Many folks associate process (and productivity) with concepts like restriction, buckling down, boring, and even kicks in the patootie. 

Those kind of negative associations are a humongo problem. They make it harder for folks to get their creative work done with confidence and ease.

That said, it makes complete sense why playful words might not be your go to words around process and productivity. A lot of the "get stuff done" advice out there marinates to one degree or the other in the notion that creativity is a battlefield that requires you to be in a constant, never-ending Armageddon with yourself.

Good gracious, let’s bring back the fun to getting our creative work done. Get it out of the combat zone and onto the playground or dance floor or rock concert or wherever you can jam with more ease, confidence, groove and delight.
